The Avenue D Champs Elysees.- The street of diamonds and rubies..
When the French won the football world cup title in 1998,I was a student of standard 10. I remember watching the award ceremony with my Dad, back home in Kerala. After the award ceremony, the winning team was paraded down the Champs Elysees, with the World cup. I remember listening to my Dad in awe as he explained to me about Champs Elysees , never in my life thinking that I would after 10 years, walk down the very street... Yet another of those memorable moments..
